   1 libtranslate is a library for translating text and web pages between
   2 natural languages. Its modular infrastructure allows to implement new
   3 translation services separately from the core library.

   5 libtranslate is shipped with a generic module supporting web-based
   6 translation services such as Babel Fish, Google Language Tools and
   7 SYSTRAN. Moreover, the generic module allows to add new services
   8 simply by adding a few lines to a XML file (see the services.xml(5)
   9 manual page).
