irc/sirc/pkg-descr

   1         An Internet Relay Chat client written in perl, that uses a
   2 perl-based scripting language.  It is small (150k or less), fast, and
   3 gives you a good chance to practice your perl skills. :)

   5         It has an interface that closely emulates ircII and comes with
   6 some useful sample scripts that will get you started on IRC quickly.  No
   7 knowledge of perl is necessary to run the client although it is helpful
   8 if you plan to do any scripting.
