   1 Libnids is a library that provides the function of one of the NIDS
   2 (Network Intrusion Detection System) components, namely E-component. The
   3 libnids code watches all local network traffic, processes received
   4 datagrams a bit, and provides convenient information on them to analyzing
   5 modules. Libnids performs:
