main thing compatibilize dell powerconnect switch 2716, straght ethernet cabling ok, boot to linux then via switch works, tried dlfy command ifconfig 0.0.0.0 bge0 up still no carrier via switch though as single client no problem, mostly very impressive results, tripleboot ubuntu karmic, mandriva, dfly ok, mostly learning this and peripherals compatibilizations:
