   1 Libvisual is an abstraction library that comes between applications

   5 create visuals, they depend on a player or something else; basically,
   6 there is no general framework that enabled application developers
   7 to easily access cool audio visualisation plugins. Libvisual wants
   8 to change this by providing an interface towards plugins and
   9 applications; through this easy to use interface applications can
  10 easily access plugins and, since the drawing is done by the
  11 application, it also enables the developer to draw the visual
  12 anywhere he wants.

  15 mix two at once; all kinds of neat tricks are possible using this
  16 method.
