   1 Scid is a chess database application.  With Scid you can maintain a
   2 database of chess games, search games by many criteria, view graphical
   3 trends, and produce printable reports on players and openings.  You can
   4 also analyze games with the chess program Scidlet or any other
   5 WinBoard-compatible chess engine, and even use Scid to study endings
   6 with endgame tablebases.  There are many more features as well.
