   1 mencoder (MPlayer's Movie Encoder) is a simple movie encoder, designed to
   2 encode MPlayer-playable movies (AVI/ASF/OGG/DVD/VCD/VOB/MPG/MOV/VIV/FLI/
   3 RM/NUV/NET) to other MPlayer-playable formats. It encodes to DivX4 (1,
   4 2 or 3 passes), XviD, codecs of libavcodec, PCM/MP3/VBRMP3 audio. It also
   5 has stream copying abilities, a powerful plugin system (crop, expand,
   6 flip, postprocess, rotate, scale, rgb/yuv conversion) and more.
