   1 The library "libotf" provides the following facilites.

   3     o Read Open Type Layout Tables from OTF file.  Currently these
   4       tables are supported; head, name, cmap, GDEF, GSUB, and GPOS.

   6     o Convert a Unicode character sequence to a glyph code sequence by
   7       using the above tables.
   8
   9 The combination of libotf and the FreeType library (Ver.2) realizes
  10 CTL (complex text layout) by OpenType fonts.
