   1 Monotorrent is an open source bittorrent library developed by Alan
   2 McGovern. It was initially developed as part of googles Summer of
   3 Code project in 2006. The main aim of this library is to provide a
   4 rich API for developers to connect to so they can harness BitTorrent
   5 for all downloading needs.
