   1 END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
   2 FOR F-PROT ANTIVIRUS

   4 This is a binding, legal agreement between the end user (the
   5 "licensee") and Frisk Software International ("FSI") for the F-Prot
   6 Antivirus software product, which includes the software program,
   7 material and online or electronic documentation. By installing,
   8 copying, downloading, accessing or otherwise using the F-Prot
   9 Antivirus software you agree to be bound by the terms of this
  10 Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement you may
  11 not download, install or use the F-Prot Antivirus software product,
  12 but return it to your place of purchase.

  14 Software Product License

  16 1. Scope of license: The license granted hereunder applies to one of
  17 the following versions of the F-Prot Antivirus software product as
  18 provided by FSI to the licensee:

  20 1.1. F-Prot Antivirus for Windows:
  21
  22 1.1.1. F-Prot Antivirus for Windows for Home Users: License applies to
  23 any computer(s) as indicated by the invoice. License does not apply to
  24 mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways.

  26 1.1.2. F-Prot Antivirus for Windows for Corporate Users: License
  27 applies to any computer(s) as indicated by the invoice. License does
  28 not apply to mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways.

  30 1.1.3. F-Prot Antivirus for Windows for Mail Servers: License applies
  31 only to mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways, i.e., computers
  32 that that provide mail services to a network, for either incoming or
  33 outgoing e-mail.

  35 1.2. F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange: License applies only to mail
  36 servers, mail relays and mail gateways, i.e., computers that provide
  37 mail services to a network, for either incoming or outgoing e-mail.

  39 1.3. F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Mail Servers version: License
  40 applies only to mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways, i.e.,
  41 computers that provide mail services to a network, for either
  42 incoming or outgoing e-mail.

  44 1.4. F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD File Servers version: License
  45 applies only to file, print and application servers, i.e., computers
  46 that provide network services other than mail services.

  48 1.5. F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Workstations version: License
  49 applies only to one single workstation and any files stored
  50 locally. If the workstation provides network services then a File
  51 Server or Mail Server license is required.

  53 1.6. F-Prot Antivirus for AIX on IBM pSeries (RS/6000): License
  54 applies to servers, i.e., computers that provide mail services to a
  55 network, for either incoming or outgoing e-mail, or servers that
  56 provide network services other than mail services.

  58 1.7. F-Prot Antivirus for Linux on IBM zSeries (S/390): License
  59 applies to servers, i.e., computers that provide mail services to a
  60 network, for either incoming or outgoing e-mail, or servers that
  61 provide network services other than mail services.

  63 1.8. F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris Mail Servers version: License
  64 applies only to mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways, i.e.,
  65 computers that provide mail services to a network, for either
  66 incoming or outgoing e-mail.

  68 1.9. F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris File Servers version: License
  69 applies only to file, print and application servers, i.e., computers
  70 that provide network services other than mail services.

  72 1.10. F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris Workstations version: License
  73 applies only to one single workstation and any files stored
  74 locally. If the workstation provides network services then a File
  75 Server or Mail Server license is required.

  77 1.11. F-Prot Antivirus for DOS: License applies to any computer(s) as
  78 indicated by the invoice.

  80 2. Grant of License:

  82 2.1. Software Product: FSI grants the licensee a non-exclusive,
  83 non-transferable license to use the F-Prot Antivirus software product
  84 on any computer/computers owned by the licensee, effective as stated
  85 in the invoice. The licensee may make one copy solely for backup and
  86 archival purposes. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
  87 agreement the licensee may not otherwise make copies of the F-Prot
  88 Antivirus software product or the printed material accompanying
  89 therewith.

  91 2.2. Installation:

  93 2.2.1. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Windows software
  94 product, the Corporate User version, for the number of computers
  95 purchased from FSI. Users who have bought F-Prot Antivirus for Windows
  96 software product, the Home User version, may install it on up to 5
  97 computers in their household that are used for personal purposes. You
  98 may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Windows software product, the
  99 Mail User version on mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways, for
 100 the number of users covered by your FSI license.

 102 2.2.2. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange software
 103 product for the number of mailboxes covered by your FSI license.

 105 2.2.3. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Mail Servers
 106 software product for the number of users covered by your FSI license.

 108 2.2.4. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD File Servers
 109 software product for the number of servers covered by your FSI
 110 license.

 112 2.2.5. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Workstations
 113 software product for the number of workstations covered by your FSI
 114 license.

 116 2.2.6. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for AIX on IBM pSeries
 117 (RS/6000) software product for the number of users covered by your FSI
 118 license.

 120 2.2.7. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Linux on IBM zSeries
 121 (S/390) software product for the number of users covered by your FSI
 122 license.

 124 2.2.8. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris Mail Servers
 125 software product for the number of users covered by your FSI license.

 127 2.2.9. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris File Servers
 128 software product for the number of servers covered by your FSI

 131 2.2.10. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris Workstations
 132 software product for the number of workstations covered by your FSI

 135 2.2.11. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for DOS software product
 136 for the number of computers covered by your FSI license.

 138 3. Description of other Rights and Limitations

 140 3.1. Not for resale: The F-Prot Antivirus software product is limited
 141 for your personal or professional use only, and is not for resale, or
 142 otherwise allowed to transfer the software product for value.

 144 3.2. Limitation on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation and Disassembly:
 145 The licensee may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the
 146 software product, except and only to the extent such activity is
 147 expressly permitted by applicable law.

 149 3.3. Rental: Licensee may not rent, lease or lend the software product.

 151 3.4. Services and Technical support: FSI may provide you with support
 152 services related to the software product as deemed necessary.

 154 3.5. Termination: Without prejudice to any other rights, FSI may
 155 terminate this Agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and
 156 conditions of the Agreement. In such event, you must destroy and
 157 remove all copies of the software product and all of its component
 158 parts.

 160 3.6. Updates: Licensee may discover a new virus, unknown to FSI, and
 161 send it to FSI, who will provide the Licensee with an updated version
 162 of the F-Prot Antivirus software product as soon as possible.

 164 4. Copyright: All title and intellectual property right in and to the
 165 F-Prot Antivirus software product, the accompanying printed materials
 166 and any copies obtained from the Internet are owned by FSI. All title
 167 and intellectual property right in and to the content, which may be
 168 accessed through use of the F-Prot Antivirus, is the property of the
 169 respective content owner and may be protected by applicable copyright
 170 or other intellectual property laws. This Agreement grants no right to
 171 use such content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by
 172 FSI.

 174 5. Limited Warranty: FSI warrants that the F-Prot Antivirus software
 175 product will perform substantially in accordance with any
 176 specifications provided for the period of time established by
 177 applicable law from the date of purchase. The Licensee understands and
 178 agrees that the software product is provided "as is", with all faults
 179 that may accompany software products. FSI warrants that any diskettes
 180 provided are free of any physical defects.

 182 6. Warranty Exclusions: FSI makes no other express or implied
 183 warranties, regarding the performance of the software included in the
 184 F-Prot Antivirus software product, but will use its best efforts to
 185 promptly correct any errors in the said software that are reported by
 186 Licensee. FSI may attempt to correct errors through the means it
 187 determines to be most appropriate. Errors caused by hardware
 188 malfunctions or failure, or by loss of data or disruption of services
 189 over the Internet due to third party, are expressly excluded.

 191 7. Limitation of Liability: FSI shall not be liable for any indirect,
 192 consequential, incidental, or punitive damages or attorney fees for
 193 any cause of action, in tort or contract, regardless of whether FSI
 194 was aware of the possibility of such damages. Licensee's exclusive
 195 remedy shall be the amounts Licensee paid FSI.

 197 8. Disputes: Any disputes arising out of the inception, application or
 198 interpretation of this agreement shall be settled in accordance with
 199 the laws of Iceland and the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable
 200 court in Iceland.
