   2 the GNOME project.  The goal for this spreadsheet is to compete
   3 with the commercial offerings.  Users of Excel should be already
   4 familiar with Gnumeric advanced features.  A plugin system lets
   5 you extend Gnumeric with GPL extensions, and an optional
   6 Python and Perl plugins let you define complex functions in those
   7 popular languages.
