multimedia/transcode/DESCR

   1 transcode is a command line video-stream processing tool.
   2 It supports elementary video and audio frame transformations.
   3 Some example modules are included to enable import of MPEG-1/2,
   4 Digital Video, and other formats.  It also includes export
   5 modules for writing to AVI files with DivX, OpenDivX, XviD,
   6 Digital Video or other codecs.  Direct DVD transcoding is also
   7 supported.  A set of tools is available to extract and decode
   8 the sources into raw video/audio streams for import and to
   9 enable post-processing of AVI files.
