audio/cdparanoia/DESCR

   1 Cdparanoia retrieves audio tracks from CDDA capable CDROM drives.
   2 The data can be saved to a file or directed to standard output
   3 in WAV, AIFF, AIFF-C or raw format.  Most ATAPI, SCSI and several
   4 proprietary CDROM drive makes are supported; cdparanoia can
   5 determine if the target drive is CDDA capable.

   7 In addition to simple reading, cdparanoia adds extra-robust
   8 data verification, synchronization, error handling and scratch
   9 reconstruction capability.
