Tenes Empanadas Graciela (short TEG) is a round-based computer game
running under Linux.  The idea for this free software (GNU GPL)
program came from the popular Risk game but differs in many aspects of
the rules.  Using a Server several player can fight each other for
world dominance and of course also chat together.  Various maps are
used as battle field and also several languages like Spanish, German
and Polish are available.

Import hyperestraier from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by OBATA Akio.

Hyper Estraier is a full-text search system.  You can search lots of
documents for some documents including specified words.  If you run a
web site, it is useful as your own search engine for pages in your
site.  Also, it is useful as search utilities of mail boxes and file
servers.

Import qdbm from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by OBATA Akio.

QDBM is an embeded database library compatible with GDBM and NDBM.  It
features hash database and B+ tree database and is developed referring
to GDBM for the purpose of the following three points: higher
processing speed, smaller size of a database file, and simpler API.
This package includes APIs for C, C++, and Java.  CGI scripts are also
contained.  APIs for Perl and Ruby should be installed with a source
package.

GStreamer is a library that allows the construction of graphs of
media-handling components, ranging from simple mp3 playback to complex
audio (mixing) and video (non-linear editing) processing.

Applications can take advantage of advances in codec and filter technology
transparently.  Developers can add new codecs and filters by writing a
simple plugin with a clean, generic interface.

This package provides the xvid plugin for GStreamer, which lets it handle
MPEG4 (aka DIVX) media containers.

Import zidrav from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by Tobias Nygren.

Zidrav is a file corruption detection and repair program.  It is
designed to provide a way to fix file damage without having to
redownload the entire (potentially large) file over a (potentially
slow) connection.  A checksum file is generated for the broken file.
The checksum file can then be used together with the correct file to
produce a binary patch file for repair.

Import z26 from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by Greg Troutman.

A fast and stable emulator for the mighty Atari 2600 game console.
Lots of features and options, even comes with a man page with gobs of
detailed information to help you fine tune everything.  Try the
various timing and video mode settings to get the maximum performance
on your computer.

Initial import of streamripper-1.61.14.

Using information which a SHOUTcast server can optionally send, this program
breaks an audio stream into "tracks," stores them in separate files as they
arrive, and names the files by appending ".mp3" to the name of the track.
The tracks can be listened to at the user's leisure with an MPEG Layer 3
audio player.

Qsynth is a fluidsynth GUI front-end application written in C++ around the Qt3
toolkit using Qt Designer. Eventually it may evolve into a softsynth management
application allowing the user to control and manage a variety of command line
softsynths but for the moment it wraps the excellent FluidSynth.

Xfmedia is a simple, easy-to-use media player based on the xine
engine.  The GTK+ and Xfce4 GUI focuses on playing and managing audio
files, but, being based on xine, supports video as well.

Import wsbasic from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by Geert Hendrickx.

WSBasic is a BASIC interpreter written entirely in C++ without the use
of lex or yacc.

Initial import of digikam-doc as version 0.7.4 into the NetBSD Packages

Digikam is a simple digital photo management KDE application, which makes
importing and organizing digital photos easy. This package provides
Digikam's documentation.

Import dnsmasq from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by pancake and updated by
dhowland.

Dnsmasq is a lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and DHCP
server.  It is designed to provide DNS and, optionally, DHCP, to a
small network.  It can serve the names of local machines which are not
in the global DNS.  The DHCP server integrates with the DNS server and
allows machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS
with names configured either in each host or in a central
configuration file.  Dnsmasq supports static and dynamic DHCP leases
and BOOTP for network booting of diskless machines.

Initial import of MPD-1.0.1. Might still have some problems on LP64.

Initial import of InterLOGIC-0.30:

The game InterLOGIC is based on the old Amiga logic game "Balls".
The object of the game is to move balls of different colors through
a maze, connecting them with other balls of the same color. Two or
more connected balls of the same color will disappear. The aim of
the game is to clean the whole maze in this way.  The balls are
connected if they are right next to each other horizontally or
vertically, but not diagonally.  The current release contains 30
mind-breaking levels for you to solve.

Re-import textproc/gocr as graphics/gocr (better fit).

Initial import of ocrad-0.13:

GNU Ocrad is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program based
on a feature extraction method. It reads a bitmap image in pbm or
pgm formats and produces text in byte (8-bit) or UTF-8 formats.

Ocrad includes a layout analyser able to separate the columns or
blocks of text normally found on printed pages.

Initial version of the IP::Country perl module.

Finding the home country of a client using only the IP address can be
difficult. Looking up the domain name associated with that address can
provide some help, but many IP address are not reverse mapped to any
useful domain, and the most common domain (.com) offers no help when
looking for country.

This perl module comes bundled with a database of countries where various
IP addresses have been assigned. Although the country of assignment will
probably be the country associated with a large ISP rather than the
client herself, this is probably good enough for most log analysis
applications, and under test has proved to be as accurate as reverse-DNS
and WHOIS lookup.

Initial version of the Net::Ident perl module.

Net::Ident is a module that looks up the username on the remote side of
a TCP/IP connection through the ident (auth/tap) protocol described in
RFC1413. Note that this requires the remote site to run a daemon (often
called identd) to provide the requested information, so it is not always
available for all TCP/IP connections.

Initial import of evolution-exchange (formerly known as ximian-connector),
version 2.4.1.

This is the Evolution Exchange plugin, which adds support for Microsoft
Exchange 2000 and 2003 to Evolution.

Import p5-HTTP-GHTTP from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by xtraeme@ and
improved by hiramatsu@.

This is a fairly low level interface to the Gnome project's libghttp,
which allows you to process HTTP requests to HTTP servers.  There also
exists a slightly higher level interface - a simple get() function which
takes a URI as a parameter.

It allows you to make very simple HTTP requests, without the weight of
something like LWP.  This makes it very useful in situations where
memory and speed are at a premium, such as mod_perl.

It has full support for proxy requests and authenticated requests.

Import p5-Term-Screen from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by pancake, and
improved by Hiramatsu Yoshifumi.

This module provides a simple interface to the terminal control
features for character mode terminals.

Import Terminal-0.2.4.  Packaged by Kibum Han.

Terminal is a modern terminal emulator for the Unix/Linux desktop -
primarly for the Xfce desktop environment.  It was developed because
of the need for a lightweight and easy to use terminal emulator in the
Xfce desktop environment, that doesn't require the user to install the
GNOME plattform, but still provides a worthy alternative to the GNOME
terminal emulator.

Initial import of renderext-0.9:

This package contains header files and documentation for the X
render extension (renderext).  Library and server implementations
are separate.

The previous version of this package was called "render".

Import tile from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by Greg Schenzel.

This is a utility to tile windows on the desktop.  It supports user-
configurable window manager profiles to avoid screen objects and can
tile in a horizontal or vertical fashion.  It works well with MWM,
Oroborus and some multi-desktop WMs like FluxBox (given the -m option)
and GNOME/Metacity (given the -w option).

It has two files controlling its behavior.  The first contains
"wmprofiles" that tell tile how much space to avoid on the different
sides of the screen (specified via "-p"). The second, named "rc",
contains all other configuration, including a list of XA_STRING X11
Atoms and values used as criteria for windows that should be avoided
for calculations and resize/move operations.  Both files may exist
under $PREFIX/share/tile/ or $HOME/.tile/.

iso-codes provides the list of the country, language and currency names in
one place, rather than repeated in many third-party programs.  This was
originally done to centralize this data in Debian systems.

The aim of iso-codes is to create a single "gettext" domain "iso-639" which
contains the translations of language names, and one "iso-3166" listing the
translations of country names.

ModSecurity is an open source intrusion detection and prevention engine for
web applications (or a web application firewall). Operating as an Apache Web
server module or standalone, the purpose of ModSecurity is to increase web
application security, protecting web applications from known and unknown
attacks.

This package is for both Apache 1.x and Apache 2.x

Import secpanel from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by dhowland.

SecPanel serves as a graphical user interface for managing and running
SSH (Secure Shell) and SCP (Secure Copy) connections.  SecPanel is
written entirely in pure Tcl/Tk and does not need any extensions but
it requires version 8.x of Tcl and Tk.

Import dirb from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by pancake.

DIRB is a Web Content Scanner.  It looks for existing (and/or hidden)
Web Objects.  It basically works by launching a dictionary based
attack against a web server and analizing the response.

DIRB comes with a set of preconfigured attack wordlists for easy usage
but you can use your custom wordlists.  Also DIRB sometimes can be
used as a classic CGI scanner, but remember is a content scanner not a
vulnerability scanner.

DIRB main purpose is to help in professional web application auditing.
Specially in security related testing.  It covers some holes not
covered by classic web vulnerability scanners.  DIRB looks for
specific web objects that other generic CGI scanners can't look for.
It doesn't search vulnerabilities nor does it look for web contents
that can be vulnerables.

Import rxvt-unicode from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by Leonard Schmidt.

rxvt-unicode is a clone of the well known terminal emulator rxvt,
modified to store text in Unicode (either UCS-2 or UCS-4) and to use
locale-correct input and output.  It also supports mixing multiple
fonts at the same time, including Xft fonts.

Initial import of a package to retrieve the Xen kernel itself easily.

Xen is a virtual machine monitor for x86 hardware (runs only on
i686-class CPUs), which supports running multiple guests operating
systems on a single machine.  Guest OSes (also called "domains")
require a modified kernel which supports Xen hypercalls in replacement
to access to the physical hardware.  At boot, the xen kernel is loaded
(via grub) along with the guest kernel for the first domain (called
domain0).  domain0 has privileges to access the physical hardware (PCI
and ISA devices), administrate other domains and provide virtual
devices (disks and network) to other domains.

This package contains the Xen kernel itself.

protocol for synchronising objects between a Windows CE device and

This module contains helper scripts for setting up a serial connection

libmemcache is a C API for memcached, which is a high-performance,

New package to inspect squid caches and extract data from them.
Patched for pkgsrc pathnames (default location of squid config file),
and for NetBSD; probably needs help for other pkgsrc platforms but not
marked ONLY_ because there's no good reason it can't be made to work.

While not useful to run this w/o squid, the package does not depend on
it because it can be built and installed without it.

The package and binary are named squidpurge because purge seems too
likely to conflict and squid users are more likely to notice it this way.

The purge tool is a kind of magnifying glass into your squid-2 cache.
You can use purge to have a look at what URLs are stored in which file
within your cache.  The purge tool can also be used to release objects
which URLs match user specified regular expressions.  It can extract
objects matching a regular expression, creating a directory tree
matching the server layout.  A more troublesome feature is the ability
to remove files squid does not seem to know about any longer.

Reimport x11/imake to x11/XFree86-imake.

This is for consistent naming with other XFree86 packages
and also to better identify it is different from xorg-imake
package.

The Ski simulator is a software package designed to functionally
simulate the IA-64 processor architecture at the instruction level.
Ski offers an informative, screen-oriented machine-state display and a
friendly, powerful command-line interface. Programs may be loaded from
disk in executable format; they may be run from start to finish, single-
stepped, and break-pointed. Execution can occur in a text-oriented or
a graphical user interface or in batch-mode, with no user-interface at
all. Both the user-level and the system-level machine-state can be
simulated. For user-level execution, Ski will intercept IA-64 Linux
system calls and translate them into the corresponding system calls of
the host operating system.

Initial import of p5-Text-Unaccent-1.08:
Text::Unaccent is a module that remove accents from a string.
unac_string converts the input string from the specified charset
to UTF-16 and call unac_string_utf16 to return the unaccented
equivalent. The conversion from and to UTF-16 is done with iconv(1).

Initial import of Blob Wars: Metal Blob Solid (platform shooter):

In Blob Wars: Metal Blob Solid, you take on the role of a fearless
Blob agent, Bob. Bob's mission is to infiltrate the various enemy

Blobs who have been assimilated and the evil alien leader, Galdov.

Import libexo.  Packaged by Kibum Han.

libexo is the extension library to Xfce developed by os-cillation.
While Xfce ships with quite a few libraries that are primarly
targeted at desktop development, libexo is targeted at application
development, with a focus on applications for Xfce.

Welcome to the File System Construction Kit!  This is a software
package that accompanies the book, Practical File System Design, which
Dominic Giampaolo wrote and is published by Morgan Kaufmann (ISBN
1558604979).

This package is a very simple framework in which you can experiment
with a working (but simple) file system implementation.  The framework
is designed so that you can go in and modify one part of it, such as
how the used and free disk blocks are managed, and not have to touch
the rest of the file system.  And because the package creates its file
system inside of a normal file on your hard disk, you don't have to
have a spare disk or require special (root) privileges to run the
program.  The goal is that this package should provide a convenient
test bed for trying out new file system ideas without having to go
through the pain and difficulty of creating a real kernel based file
system.  The API is generic enough however that after an you debug
your implementation within this framework it could be moved to a real
kernel based file system for the BeOS or a Unix like operating system.

This package has a "no commercial use" licence.

Initial import of verifypc, version 1.0:

verifypc is a tool that sanity checks the dependencies of a package based on
the results of a successful build, assuming the package uses pkg-config to
detect dependencies.

verifypc will warn you if the configuration script requests an uninstalled
or unavailable package (not specified as a direct dependency) or if the
requested package does not match the version specification in the packages'
dependencies.

Import heme from pkgsrc-wip.  Packaged by pancake and modified by me.

Heme is a fast and portable console hex editor for unix systems.  It
has undo support (number of undo operations is only limited by
available memory), ability to fill a range of addresses with the
specified byte, ability to search for a single byte or character
string.

Offsets can be given in hexadecimal, octal or decimal.  There are two
editing modes: hex and ascii.  In hex mode you type hexadecimal digits
and in ascii mode you type characters.  In the ascii mode cursor is
automatically moved to the next byte after typing a character (this
behaviour is configurable for hex mode).

Initial import of gnustep-objc-lf2-2.95.3.88, an Objective-C base library
required by libFoundation.

scamper is a program that conducts traceroute to large numbers of IPv4
and IPv6 addresses in parallel to fill a specified packets-per-second rate.

scamper can do ICMP based Path MTU discovery. scamper starts with the
outgoing interface's MTU and discovers the location of PMTU bottlenecks.
Recent revision of scamper do a PMTU search when an ICMP fragmentation
required message is not returned to establish the PMTU to the next point
in the network, followed by a TTL limited search to infer the hop
where failure appears to occur.

PHP is a programming language designed to be embedded into web pages.
This module provides support for pspell (spell checking).

ACR tries to replace autoconf functionality generating a full-compatible
'configure' script (runtime flags). But using shell-script instead of m4.
This means that ACR is faster, smaller and easy to use.

This tool is to be used to mesure different kinds of streams, the idea is to
create a good source to get concepts and resources for other tools that mesure
system usage.

You can mesure how KB/s grows a file received by FTP or NetCat for example.
How fast processes eat memory, stream usage (pipe like), etc.

Initial import of moc-2.3.2 from pkgsrc-wip, packaged by Petter

MOC (music on console) is a console audio player for LINUX/UNIX
designed to be powerful and easy to use. Noteworthy features
include:

  * By default, files are decoded and played in a background
    process. This allows the user to quit the interface (e.g.,
    if one needs to close the xterm) without affecting
    playback. It also allows attaching multiple interfaces
    (e.g. in multiple xterms) to the same player.
  * Playback should be smooth even under high cpu or I/O load,
    due to the use of output buffering in a separate thread.
  * There are no sound gaps in between files, because the next
    file to be played is precached while playing the current
    file.

Note: To avoid conflicts with Qt's 'moc', the moc binary is
called 'mocp'.

Picprg is a PIC programmer for a common design of programmer attached to a PC
parallel port.  This package is for Byron Jeff's adapted version for Brian
Lane's original software, and supports the Trivial Low Voltage Programmer
(TLVP).

p5-XML-Dumper-0.79; from DESCR:

XML::Dumper dumps Perl data to a structured XML format.
XML::Dumper can also read XML data that was previously dumped
by the module and convert it back to Perl.

This might be useful for dumping Perl objects to files
using an XML format that can be reloaded or accessed by
other programs. Maybe even by other languages.

Initial import of gtk2+extra-2.1.1, a useful set of GTK+ widgets for creating
GUIs.

Import dejavu-ttf-1.13. This is from Jonathan A. Kollasch
via PR 30353.

DejaVu is a family of fonts derived from the Bitstream Vera family.
It provides a wider range of characters than the original. These
TrueType fonts include serif, sans serif, monospaced, and experimental
condensed serif and sans serif families with regular (Roman), Bold,
Oblique and Bold Oblique typefaces.

Add php-sqlite-${PHP_BASE_VERS}.1.0.3:

This is a PHP 4 compatible SQLite 2.x module (the same module comes bundled
with PHP 5 and is available as databases/php5-sqlite).
