  40 .SH DESCRIPTION
  41 This is an extension to the curses library.
  42 It permits an application to determine if a string is currently bound
  43 to any keycode.
  44 .SH RETURN VALUE
  45 If the string is bound to a keycode, its value (greater than zero) is returned.
  46 If no keycode is bound, zero is returned.
  47 If the string conflicts with longer strings which are bound to keys, -1 is returned.
  48 .SH PORTABILITY
  49 These routines are specific to ncurses.  They were not supported on
  50 Version 7, BSD or System V implementations.  It is recommended that
  51 any code depending on them be conditioned using NCURSES_VERSION.
