   1 CDuce is modern programming language, adapted to the manipulation of
   2 XML documents. With a syntax inspired from ML, it comes with many
   3 interesting features such as higher order, overloaded functions and
   4 powerful regular expressions patterns. It also provides an embeded XML
   5 query language, using the traditional SELECT FROM WHERE form.

   7 This project is a spin-off of a research effort split amongst two CNRS
   8 labs (the Languages group of ENS in Paris and the Databases group of
   9 LRI in Orsay), and one INRIA project (the Cristal project). Please see

  11 research effort. Some technical papers present the theoretical
  12 foundations of the language.
