devel/p5-File-Path-Expand/pkg-descr

   1 File::Path::Expand expands user directories in filenames.  For the
   2 simple case it's no more complex than s{^~/}{$HOME/}, but for other
   3 cases it consults C<getpwent> and does the right thing.
