   1 libfiredns is a library for handling asynchronous DNS
   2 requests.  It provides a very simple interface for sending
   3 requests and parsing reponses, as well as low-timeout
   4 blocking functions.  libfiredns functions have much lower
   5 timeouts than the stock functions and tend to be faster
   6 because they send requests to all configured system
   7 nameservers at the same time.
