   4 This is a PostScript-to-ascii converter which works for PostScript
   5 files created by dvips. Results are usually better than using ps2ascii
   6 which comes with ghostscript.

   8 USAGE: dvips2ascii < psfile > asciifile

  10 dvips2ascii is a perl script, therefore it is slow. There is limited
  11 support for accented characters (mainly german umlauts). Let me know
  12 if you want support for other special characters.
