   1 The portless utility is a small shell script which lets FreeBSD users
   2 quickly browse port descriptions given the port's name or a
   3 glob. Basically to view the descriptions of GCC (related) ports you
   4 simply type
   5         portless gcc\*
   6 and it will display all descriptions of the gcc* ports.
   7 There are options to display the port's postinstall message or
   8 Makefile too. A manpage is included.
