   1 Netdot is an open source tool designed to help network administrators

   6         - Device discovery and Layer 2 topology discovery / graphing.

   8         - IPv4 and IPv6 address space management (also referred to as IPAM),
   9         including hierarchical organization, address block visualization and
  10         IP and MAC address location and tracking.

  12         - Cable plant information including: sites, rooms, jacks, closets,
  13         inter and intra-building fiber and copper wiring, circuits, etc.

  15         - Contact information for related entities: departments, providers,
  16         vendors, BGP peers, etc.

  18         - Netdot can generate configuration files for various other tools,
  19         including: Nagios, Sysmon, RANCID, Cacti, ISC BIND and ISC DHCPD.
