   1 QCL is a high level, architecture independent programming language for
   2 quantum computers, with a syntax derived from classical procedural
   3 languages like C or Pascal. This allows for the complete implementation
   4 and simulation of quantum algorithms (including classical components)
   5 in one consistent formalism.
