   1 GIFTool is a tool for GIF89a transparent option and interlace mode.  For
   2 instance 'giftool -B -i *.gif' converts all images to interlaced GIF files.

   4 GIFTool is shareware.  Use the -info option to read the licensing information.

   6 Two options are recommended:
   7 WITH_RETVALUE=yes
   8         This option, suggested by Sergei Chechetkin
   9         <csl@whale.sunbay.crimea.ua>, causes GIFTool to provide a return value
  10         so may be used in pipes or with programs like make(1).
  11 WITH_MALLOCSIZE=yes
  12         This option, suggested by Hidetoshi Shimokawa
  13         <simokawa@sat.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp>, increases the size of a malloc, to avoid
  14         a segmentation fault when pre-reading some images.
