   5 rich and animated graphical user interfaces. It uses OpenGL for drawing
   6 primitives and has multiple backends, allowing its usage on different
   7 platforms.

   9 GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs of filters
  10 which operate on media data. Applications using this library can do
  11 anything from real-time sound processing to playing videos, and just
  12 about anything else media-related. Its plugin-based architecture means
  13 that new data types or processing capabilities can be added simply by
  14 installing new plug-ins.
