math/eispack/DESCR

   1 EISPACK is a collection of double-precision Fortran subroutines that
   2 compute the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of nine classes of matrices:
   3 complex general, complex Hermitian, real general, real symmetric, real
   4 symmetric banded, real symmetric tridiagonal, special real
   5 tridiagonal, generalized real, and generalized real symmetric matices.
   6 In addition, two routines are included that use singular value
   7 decomposition to solve certain least-squares problems.
