   1 END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
   2 FOR F-PROT ANTIVIRUS

   4 This is a binding, legal agreement between the end user (the
   5 "licensee") and Frisk Software International ("FSI") for the F-Prot
   6 Antivirus software product, which includes the software program,
   7 material and online or electronic documentation. By installing,
   8 copying, downloading, accessing or otherwise using the F-Prot
   9 Antivirus software you agree to be bound by the terms of this
  10 Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement you may
  11 not download, install or use the F-Prot Antivirus software product,
  12 but return it to your place of purchase.

  14 Software Product License

  16 1. Scope of license: The license granted hereunder applies to one of
  17 the following versions of the F-Prot Antivirus software product as
  18 provided by FSI to the licensee:

  20 1.1. F-Prot Antivirus for Windows: License applies to any computer(s)
  21 as indicated by the invoice.

  23 1.2. F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange: License applies only to mail
  24 servers, mail relays and mail gateways, i.e., computers that provide
  25 mail services to a network, for either in-coming or out-going e-mail.

  27 1.3. F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Mail Servers version: License
  28 applies only to mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways, i.e.,
  29 computers that provide mail services to a network, for either
  30 in-coming or out-going e-mail.

  32 1.4. F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD File Servers version: License
  33 applies only to file, print and application servers, i.e., computers
  34 that provide network services other than mail services.

  36 1.5. F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Workstations version: License
  37 applies only to one single workstation and any files stored
  38 locally. If the workstation provides network services then a File
  39 Server or Mail Server license is required.

  41 1.6. F-Prot Antivirus for AIX: License applies to servers, i.e.,
  42 computers that provide mail services to a network, for either
  43 in-coming or out-going e-mail, or servers that provide network
  44 services other than mail services.

  46 1.7. F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris Mail Servers version: License
  47 applies only to mail servers, mail relays and mail gateways, i.e.,
  48 computers that provide mail services to a network, for either
  49 in-coming or out-going e-mail.

  51 1.8. F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris File Servers version: License
  52 applies only to file, print and application servers, i.e., computers
  53 that provide network services other than mail services.

  55 1.9. F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris Workstations version: License
  56 applies only to one single workstation and any files stored
  57 locally. If the workstation provides network services then a File
  58 Server or Mail Server license is required.

  60 1.10. F-Prot Antivirus for DOS: License applies to any computer(s) as
  61 indicated by the invoice.

  63 2. Grant of License:
  64
  65 2.1. Software Product: FSI grants the licensee a non-exclusive,
  66 non-transferable license to use the F-Prot Antivirus software product
  67 on any computer/computers owned by the licensee, effective as stated
  68 in the invoice. The licensee may make one copy solely for backup and
  69 archival purposes. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
  70 agreement the licensee may not otherwise make copies of the F-Prot
  71 Antivirus software product or the printed material accompanying
  72 therewith.

  74 2.2. Installation:

  76 2.2.1. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Windows software
  77 product, the corporate user version, for the number of computers
  78 purchased from FSI. Users who have bought F-Prot Antivirus for Windows
  79 software product, the home user version, may install it on all
  80 computers in their household that are used for personal purposes.

  82 2.2.2. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange software
  83 product for the number of mailboxes covered by your FSI license.

  85 2.2.3. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Mail Servers
  86 software product for the number of users covered by your FSI license.

  88 2.2.4. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD File Servers
  89 version software product for the number of servers covered by your FSI
  90 license.

  92 2.2.5. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Linux/BSD Workstations
  93 software product for the number of workstations covered by your FSI
  94 license.

  96 2.2.6. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for AIX software product
  97 for the number of users covered by your FSI license.

  99 2.2.7. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris software
 100 product for the number of users covered by your FSI license.

 102 2.2.8. You may install the F-Prot Antivirus for DOS software product
 103 for the number of computers covered by your FSI license.

 105 3. Description of other Rights and Limitations

 107 3.1. Not for resale: The F-Prot Antivirus is limited for your personal
 108 or professional use only, and not for resale, or otherwise to transfer
 109 for value the software product.

 111 3.2. Limitation on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation and Disassembly:
 112 The licensee may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the
 113 software product, except and only to the extent such activity is
 114 expressly permitted by applicable law.

 116 3.3. Rental: Licensee may not rent, lease or lend the software product.

 118 3.4. Services and Technical support: FSI may provide you with support
 119 services related to the software product as deemed necessary.

 121 3.5. Termination: Without prejudice to any other rights, FSI may
 122 terminate this Agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and
 123 conditions of the Agreement. In such event, you must destroy and
 124 remove all copies of the software product and all of its component
 125 parts.

 127 3.6. Updates: You may discover a new virus, unknown to FSI, and send
 128 it to FSI, who will provide the licensee with an updated version of
 129 the F-Prot Antivirus software program as soon as possible.

 131 4. Copyright: All title and intellectual property right in and to the
 132 F-Prot Antivirus, the accompanying printed materials and any copies
 133 obtained from the Internet are owned by FSI. All title and
 134 intellectual property right in and to the content, which may be
 135 accessed through use of the F-Prot Antivirus, is the property of the
 136 respective content owner and may be protected by applicable copyright
 137 or other intellectual property laws. This Agreement grants no right to
 138 use such content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by
 139 FSI.

 141 5. Limited Warranty: FSI warrants that the F-Prot Antivirus will
 142 perform substantially in accordance with any specifications provided
 143 for the period of time established by applicable law from the date of
 144 purchase. The Licensee understands and agrees that the software
 145 product is provided "as is", with all faults that may accompany
 146 software products. FSI warrants that any diskettes provided are free
 147 of any physical defects.

 149 6. Warranty Exclusions: FSI makes no other express or implied
 150 warranties, regarding the performance of the software included in the
 151 F-Prot Antivirus software program, but will use its best efforts to
 152 promptly correct any errors in the said software that are reported by
 153 Licensee. FSI may attempt to correct errors through the means it
 154 determines to be most appropriate. Errors caused by hardware
 155 malfunctions or failure, or by loss of data or disruption of services
 156 over the Internet due to third party, are expressly excluded.

 158 7. Limitation of Liability: FSI shall not be liable for any indirect,
 159 consequential, incidental, or punitive damages or attorney fees for
 160 any cause of action, in tort or contract, regardless of whether FSI
 161 was aware of the possibility of such damages. Licensee's exclusive
 162 remedy shall be the amounts licensee paid FSI.

 164 8. Disputes: Any disputes arising out of the inception, application or
 165 interpretation of this agreement shall be settled in accordance with
 166 the laws of Iceland and the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable
 167 court in Iceland.
