   1 Gnuplot is a command-line driven interactive function plotting utility
   2 for UNIX, MSDOS, and VMS platforms.  The software is copyrighted but
   3 freely distributed (i.e., you don't have to pay for it).  It was originally
   4 intended as graphical program which would allow scientists and students
   5 to visualize mathematical functions and data.  Gnuplot supports many
   6 different types of terminals, plotters, and printers (including many
   7 color devices, and pseudo-devices like LaTeX) and is easily extensible
   8 to include new devices.
