   1 The goal of the Subversion project is to build a version control
   2 system that is a compelling replacement for CVS in the open source
   3 community.  The software is released under an Apache/BSD-style open
   4 source license.

   6 This is a meta-package.  It installs no files, but it depends on all
   7 the Subversion components, including the base package with the
   8 subversion client and server, the apache module, and four language
   9 bindings.  (If you just want the basic svn and svnadmin programs see
  10 devel/subversion-base.)
