   4 You will need to set the following in /etc/rc.conf:

   6         syslogd=NO
   7         syslogng=YES

   9 There is a lot of work done by the standard NetBSD rc.d scripts
  10 to setup daemons in chroot environments.  Due to the way that
  11 syslog-ng deals with chroot programs this work is effectively by-passed.
  12 If you have any chroot daemons please ensure that syslog-ng is setup
  13 to work correctly with them.
