   1 This is an implementation of a VSIP Library (Vector/Signal/Image
   2 Processing Library) as defined by the VSIPL Forum for a CORE profile.

   4 The TASP_VSIPL library is an effort to produce a VSIPL library
   5 suitable for demonstration and early development and testing of VSIPL
   6 code and ideas.

   8 The Tactical Advanced Signal Processing Common Operating Environment
   9 (TASP COE) effort is striving to produce a common operating
  10 environment for signal processing throughout the Navy and DOD for the
  11 COTS environment. VSIPL is thought by TASP to have a good chance of
  12 becoming a standard signal processing library for many vendors who
  13 supply DOD high performance computing products.  For this reason TASP
  14 is supporting the VSIPL effort.

  16 This is the TASP VSIPL Core Plus implementation of VSIPL. Core Plus
  17 includes all the functionality of the core profile plus most floating
  18 point Vector and Elementwise Operations not required by the VSIPL Core
  19 profile.  The additional functions include such things as matrix
  20 elementwise add and multiply.

  22 The TASP VSIPL code is required to be freely available for any
  23 use.
