Revert "<float.h>: Use compiler builtins for some constants, if they are available."

This reverts commit 7a0a994307056aae0718f7c17fa081f57d19f2c1.

It does more harm than it fixes and needs more investigation.

For now, lower WARNS in xlint/lint1 to 0.
